Bug Week Parasite Day Parking

The North Parking Garage is closed for summer 2023.

Parking is available for this year’s Parasite Day in the South Garage. Gilbert Rd is closed to through traffic for construction, so the easiest approach to the South Garage is from Bolton Rd via Rte 195.

Limited accessible parking is available on Auditorium Rd. Ext. A valid state-issued accessible parking permit is required. See below for details.

Driving Directions from Rte 195 (Storrs Rd)

When entering campus from Rte 195 (Storrs Rd), turn onto Bolton Rd.

Follow the road past E.O. Smith High School, continuing straight onto Hillside Rd at the stop sign by Hillside Circle.

Turn left onto Jim Calhoun Way at the UConn Bookstore to enter the South Parking Garage.

Walking Directions to Biology/Physics Building

From the South Parking Garage, cross Hillside Road at Gampel Pavilion and walk north towards the Student Union. Continue down Hillside Road, past Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, until you reach North Eagleville Rd.

Turn right onto North Eagleville Rd., following the “Museum Event” signs until you reach the Biology/Physics Building. When you see the “Be Our Guest” sign and the ants on the building, you are there!

Accessible Parking on Auditorium Rd. Ext.

Accessible parking is available for the event on Auditorium Rd Ext, next to the North Parking Garage.

Turn onto Auditorium Rd Ext and park on right side of one way road.

To get to Parasite Day from there, turn right to walk down N. Eagleville Rd. Follow the “Museum Event” signs until you reach the Biology/Physics Building (BPB).

When you see the “Be Our Guest” sign and the ants on the building, you are there! There is a ramp to the left of BPB to get to the patio and lobby entrance.
